Bride of Frank Pressbook - Antiques Roadshow
« on: November 03, 2018, 07:52:49 PM »
Here is the link to a recent episode of Antiques Roadshow, where items that were appraised in previous years are then show to have either gone up or down in value, as of 2018.

Back in 2013, a guy came on with a copy of the pressbook from BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN. He didnt say what year he bought it, but had paid $7,000.00 for it.

Forward to 2013, and the appraiser gave it a value of $20-30K

And in 2018, the price was upped to $30-35K

The appraisal starts at 37:49 into the show. Link here:

The question here is, is it just the covers or is it the entire pressbook? They don't say and we have no idea if it is the whole thing. You really can't tell from the video.

Im assuming from the way they spoke about it, that it's the entire PB. Im sure before they went on camera that this very aspect was asked about and would have been mentioned, had it been only the cover, especially since that owner had it framed with the double plexi or glass panes.
