The latest from Canadian-based restorer, Dan Miles of Backing to the Future, as shown on their FB page -

This beautiful Italian poster, looks to be a 2F, for the 1974 movie, The Ultimate Thrill (American title), with beautiful Britt Ekland. Beauty x2!

Art by Enzo Nistri.

Are there any issues with customs (or, other things to consider that are not well known) shipping a valuable poster for restoration/backing across country borders and then back again? Thanks, Okie

No there aren't any issues especially canada/US
Chris was just unlucky one time which had nothing to do with border crossings
And nothing to do with this thread
God speed all  :)

Hey Okie,
For what it's worth, I think I've only sent him maybe 5-6 posters.
However, these posters have ranged from $200 to about $1,700. I've also sent posters both tubed and flat.
With that said, though I have not done a lot of business with him, all of my transactions have gone perfectly. His communication is great, posters turn out great, and I've never had any customs issues, (sending or receiving). Highly recommend.

Dan did some really nice restoration work on some US HS from the 1930s recently, as well as some recent work on a French 1P for Good, Bad and the Ugly clap clap

They can be seen here on his FB page:

Another done by Dan Miles and his Backing to the Future team, but uploaded by the owner of the finished poster.

This one for a US OS for THX 1138 (1970)
