Fourth Cone // Amazing Work!!!

I just have to give praise to Fourth Cone Restoration on their amazing work , and timely completion of my pieces . Chelesa ,and her team do great work at very reasonable prices ..  I just had 9 posters backed , and they were done in 5 days time ..

Below is one of the posters Fourth Cone did before I had my 9 backed , The previous owner used some kind of Japanese type backing, and had the poster rolled up which wasn't good for the poster as  it had cracked right down the center , and the image was starting to disintegrate every time unrolled it..   

I couldn't be happier with their work!! Thanks to Jeff for recommending them to me!!!

What's the story/history of your poster, Mike?

La France est le Bastion Avance de L'Europe--Defends La! translates as France is the Bastion of Europe. Defend her!

The poster presents France as the first bastion against an invasion of Europe by "Jewish-dominated" Allied forces, and so must be defended.  Typical period anti Semitic poster..  I wish the dragon was a little tougher looking 😂😂😂

And it looks like you had 4th Cone simply re-back it? Was any kind of re-touch up work also done?

The first pics shows the large center fold , and the fold where the officer is had a lot of paper loss due to it being folded..  Fourth cone pretty much removed the old backing and realigned , and touched up the center fold line where the paper loss was...

Fourth Cone really has a nice looking website. Informative, great photos, a "before and after" section, blog area etc.
