Title: Acid Free Tissue
Post by: erik1925 on November 28, 2014, 04:01:53 PM
Does anyone know if acid free tissue come available in individual sheets larger than 30 x 40 inches?  Lineco sells this size, in packs of 12.

Ive found some sold in rolls.. but the width was only about 20".

Thanks all.  :)

Not right yet.. it's for storage purposes and to lay in between folded OS. Id rather keep them unfolded and flat. Some are a little "tender" and i dont like to do the fold-unfold thing... its not good on these creaky, older pieces o' paper.

Acid free tissue paper used in restoration? Never heard of that being used.

Tho maybe it's a UK thing...  qip

Jeff, not sure if it's what you're looking for but I use Borden & Riley Glassine Paper to lay between posters.

I have an A&C brick & mortar location near my house where I buy a 60"x20yd roll.  There is probably a better online source as the shipping charges from A&C look to be on the expensive side.

That looks to the ticket, Deke.

The one size has the width (36" wide) and can be cut to any length, making the sheets custom.

Thanks again!
