Hi

I wanted to share my poor experience with this dealer

I consigned a poster, I sent buyer was found I agreed.
I Found out the money the money has paid yet.
I had to send a chaser email requesting my funds
, is totally unprofessional I wonder how long my funds
were in his account earning interest before he decided to pay me.

He is very rude in emails

I did see that Black Cat poster and thought it was pretty cool looking.  Have you seen the movie?

Honestly, the best thing about so many linen is that it allows me to go through the catalog pretty quicklyv thumbsup.gif

I got the star wars soundtrack proof poster at today's propstore auction. And this appears to actually be a signed off one so the people who don't like to call untrimmed posters with color bars proofs can still call this one a proof because it actually is one. Interestingly the date is late June 1977.

Cool pick up, I had never heard of this soundtrack poster before.  I didn't realize it was so rare until I read your post since it looks just like the OS style A.  Congrats.

I agree with Thierry that there were too many things on linen for my taste at Propstore today (as usual), but I did win a folded copy of The Black Cat (1941), a minor Universal horror title that is very scarce (especially in unbacked state).

Some good results at Propstore today I think.  I don't buy linen, I don't buy printer's proof, and I don't buy less than "very good" condition items, so for me, it was a pass on everything.  But it's always fun to see the stuff you own go for 2x or 3x what you paid for, and there was a lot of that.

It is now time to consign to our August Major Auction! It begins July 14th and ends August 4th and includes the great Australian daybills seen at https://www.emovieposter.com/online/previews/20240714August/20240418_aug_preview.jpg

Our April Major Auction is now "in the books" and took in $565,073.00! Why consign to OUR major auctions rather than to those of other auctions?

Because we charge far less than ANY other major auction, at every price level! And if anyone tries to tell you otherwise, they are not telling you the truth!

See https://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign_major#absoluteproof for absolute proof of this!

AND you should also consign to us instead of ANYWHERE else because we get higher prices overall than any other auction, when you compare “apples to apples and oranges to oranges”

We have 35 years of experience (and over $116 MILLION in sales, and over 68,000 past buyers and active registered users, and OVER 3,350 previous consignors) to prove that we treat ALL our consignors (and ALL our bidders) the way you want to be treated, with TRUE customer service EVERY step of the way.

We have averaged over SIX million dollars of sales the past 6 years (and every sale was a REAL sale, to a real bidder, and NO other auction can say that).

Why consign anywhere else when you can consign to the best auction there is? Contact us TODAY with what you have!

Yes roll them, but make sure not tightly or it will become permanently rolled and possibly creased.  Use at least a 4 inch diameter, sturdy tube.  Roll the insert with some Kraft paper (or something similar) that is wider than the poster itself, and when you put the poster in the tube do NOT let it expand until it is flush with the tube, but instead slightly narrower.  This will protect the poster if the tube is somehow dented.  To keep the poster from bouncing around just keep it suspended in place by chuffing the ends of the tube with plastic bags or something up against the poster/Kraft paper.

That's a good point.  I have a couple 40x60s that apparently were tightly rolled at some point.  Despite having them stored flat with weights on top of the boards they were sandwiched between for several years, they would still roll up as soon as I removed them from the storage boards.  It's not a big deal, just a little annoying when handling them.
