Does anyone know why so many Pakistani posters are printed only in English? A fellow Apf'er and I were touching on this a few days ago, too.
Edit.. i think it's history with the UK may be part of the reason?

Agreed Jeff. Its going to be why you will find a fair amount of Singaporean posters printed in English vs. Chinese, and South African posters printed in English vs. Afrikaans. If the majority of the population understands the film's native language (even if only reasonably), then why spend the cash to print posters with alternate text? This is especially true for lower budget films.

Indian posters were also in English only , at least for western films such as 007.....nowadays 007 is in hindi , too.
