Second only to Ballester, imo.

One of the only two posters I have framed and up, is a Boris Grinsson.

A small From Russia with Love - it is on the What's on your walls thread.  Beautiful.

I would like to get the Dr No one as well.

Yep, Grinsson is one of the great ones.  The French "Rope" was one of my first poster purchases.  I later sold it as I started focusing on other areas (namely: Mexicans).

I do still have (and like) Grinsson's "Manchurian Candidate" ("Un Crime dans la tête").  Given the combination of good/important movie and good artwork, that particular title has stayed very affordable.

Can't remember if I have mentioned this on this forum, or another.

But, John Barry's name on the FRWL poster is spelt 'Jonh'.  Imagine!

Yeah, he wasn't half bad.  A few of these artist threads really make me want to refocus on them.

I do love his broad and confident brush strokes when filling in some background.

As evidenced on the Dr No at top - which I now have (framed and up) since this thread started.

His use of colour is similarly bold.  Lovely.

A Monsieur Grinsson-created poster (I picked up last month).

For the Columbia flick, They All Kissed the Bride (1942)

One of my favourite threads, this.  Thanks T.

Do you have the Grinsson Rebecca?  Just love this.  My fiancé's favourite film is Rebecca and I would love to buy this for her and have it framed.
