CNN Poster Article

"Imagine a world where the objective of the poster designer is not to sell the movie, but to express the abstract concepts within it as he sees fit. You no longer need to cover the whole thing with famous faces and big bold letters."

if you ever happen to have links to your page on main page of cnn.com you need to be prepared for high traffic to your site.
this traffic killed my site last night for few hours.
They did few small mistakes on the article and changed few of my words, but in general this quote is very important part.

A very cool article posted above, about Polish posters (the CNN link is still good after almost 4 years), with a handful of pic examples and quotes from fellow apf member, Krzysztof (MyDear).

one Mother's Day I think it was 1997 I noticed that my www.comic-art.com site was killing traffix. I was getting 10x my normal visits and in 1997, that site was a top comic book destination

then I got an email.. "hey. nice thing on CNN" "well done article" and the like.
the only thing, I never knew CNN did an article

I was selling some extra stuff which was cool
I just uploaded it to YouTube and am waiting for it to convert & show

It's a series of skits....anyway many Poles/Polish go to Norway to work and in these skits it's in reverse , Norwegians going to Poland to work (kinda like an Italian martial artist going to Hong Kong and he doesn't understand the language/customs , that'd be the plot of Way of Dragon in reverse)

The music you hear when they're being carpenters is from a Eastern European childrens show called "2 good neighbours" , about 2 handymen who does various crazy shenanigans......often involving carpenting so inside joke :

In other skits he goes to Pakistan to sell "faarikaal" (sheep in cabbage , Norse dish) since Pakistanis is selling kebab in Norway , same concept.
