As a new member, Mel really made me feel welcome. He was one of the first to reach out to me and introduce himself. Also, he's offereded up his experience and even some free posters.

All so ludicrous... What got him so bent outa shape? That people were questioning his outing auctions and feeding him some criticism, like he has done to so many others?

As far as Mel, it's a flash in the pan. Here today, gone tomorrow. It doesn't really matter. The presumption is that by leaving and by taking down his hosted images, that we will actually remember and care. Trust me, 30 days from now, no one will care, and 6 months from now, no one will care to remember.

We have the most effect on the world in our own mind. To the rest of the world, we are quite small.

You know, I can accept a lot of stuff and I welcome anyone who leaves the forum for whatever reason to come back and participate. Charlie did and it certainly shows class. In the case of Mel, though, I can't say that I do. Taking down his pictures was the lowest and most hypocritical move I've ever seen from anyone in a long time and it certainly shows a lack of maturity and integrity, which doesn't surprises me, to be honest. Especially coming from someone used to say that he wants to reach out to newbies and help the hobby. What a joke.

So to answer your question, no, Mel is not welcome here anymore. How that's for integrity?
