Hello from Wisconsin
« on: January 20, 2015, 05:26:22 PM »
Long-time collector of stuff, be it posters, Star Wars toys, sportscards, LEGO, you name it. Have collected posters for a little over 20 years, starting way back when I worked at a movie theater in high school that was showing Batman Returns. Continued working at movie theaters during college and a little post-college and amassed a huge pile of junk posters, as well as a few gems sprinkled in during that time.  Sold off a ton and trying to just focus on movies I loved from my childhood (Star Wars, Raiders, 007s) or have an interest in as a movie-lover, but it's so hard b/c I always see something else I need, like Disney posters for the kid's rooms, or Poker posters for my yet-to-be-built or discussed-w/ -the wife Poker room,. Such is life.  Anywho, currently want list consists of a Star Wars 1/2 sheet, the Polish one-sheet (have the Empire and ROTJ versions), as well as most of the Japanese B2s.  I tend to buy from Bruce, though auction prices seem to be getting a little out of control there lately, or eBay, if I can find a bargain and a seller I can trust to ship properly---they're usually mutually exclusive.

Anyway, glad to meet everyone here.  I've been on poster forums in past, but I've forgotten log-ins and usernames and forums die out, etctera, etcetera, so going to give this one a go for awhile.  I'm guessing I need to find my old Photobucket password as well to show off my stuff----so much to do.
-Brian

Welcome Hepcat.  A lot of people around these parts collect what you mentioned so you should find yourself in good company.

Show us some of your gear when you get a chance or when you remember your password.

"or Poker posters for my yet-to-be-built or discussed-w/ -the wife Poker room"
Love this, btw.  ;)
