I think that this is a helpful poll. But it excludes the obvious option for those that know that restoration and conservation are two separate things.

So my vote will be '' restoration means what it says on the tin. Nothing else to be done on the poster but restoration work - no conservation needed''

This is what I meant option #1 to be.  Restoration doesn't equal conservation.  I modified #1 a bit.
