For god's sake, how can you narrow it down to 1?????  I will post 3.  The reader can decide their favorite, because lord knows I cannot.

It's really hard to narrow down to one, but I'd say this one comes pretty close - for the size, the artwork and being a damn good and historically important film!

A better way to do this is to ask "What is your favourite poster that you own - TODAY?"

For example when Halloween rolls around I am sure I will be very drawn to my Mummy and House on Haunted Hill posters but the noirs are great for late Friday and Saturday night...it's all contingent on mood when the question is asked (for me anyways).

For me it would break down into circumstances.
RETURN OF THE VAMPIRE half sheet.  Sentimental. It was the very first Lugosi poster I got way back in the dark ages when I was a kid.
FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLFMAN insert.  Also sentimental. A surprise gift from mein Frau.
DR. JEKYLL AND MR HYDE window card.  A freebie from the son of a former theater owner in the small town of Snohomish, Washington. They had stored all their posters from the late 1920s through the late 70s before the fire marshall made them get rid of them.  Hundreds of all sizes went to the dump but DR. J and two others (a crime against nature).  He gave me all three, James Whale's SHOWBOAT and an Irene Dunne whose title escapes me at the moment.  Those two long ago traded away for other horror material.  A nice gesture from a stranger.
INVISIBLE GHOST one sheet.  For the great stone litho graphic.
However with close to 600 examples to chose from............

Well, today it's this one (a tossup betwixt this and "The Pace That Kills" one sheet).  It changes all the time though, usually it's "the next one..."

One of the favs that I have is the Argentine OS for the Spanish language version of The Criminal Code - El Codigo Penal (1931). I think because, I realized that this movie also paired up the 2 actors who also were in the Spanish version of Dracula, Carlos Villarias and Barry Norton and filmed only a short time later. So that was pretty cool, IMO. Plus it represents that small number of years (and films) in film making when dual language versions were shot, rather than the English version being dubbed.

And the chances of snagging a Spanish Drac OS are, well, in need of some prayer.gif (and $$$$$$)  ;D

That's a great one Jeff!
Barry Norton is one of the few argentinean actors who made a good career in Tinseltown

Thanks Matias!

In looking at Norton's credits,  he was in Casablanca, too!

No problem!
Text says something like:

Barry and Bogie: the extra Alfredo Biraben, most known by his artistic name Barry Norton, dances a tango with HB in the set of Casablanca. Ingrid Bergman watches and smiles.

Tough one.  Probably the Memphis Belle 1 sheet, The Glorious Fool 1 sh which I use as an avatar, Singin in the Rain Title Card, some of the early Astaire/Rogers lobbies.  Problem is that I have posted each of these multiple times.  How about this one, which I don't think I have posted?
