It's all the people that had enough and left that ruined it for the rest of us.

End of the day it is all Googles fault for never launching g-bay!

From a buyer perspective, the exodus of ebay has really hurt the discount poster buying. As folks move to their own websites, $10 posters become $30 posters as the competition factor wains, what you compete for is traffic more than pricing and the prices become retail plus or ridiculous or a combination there of.

On a side note, the digital era is killing this hobby, there will always be folks out there collecting, but it is no where near where it was for the casual buyer. Ten years ago or even five, you could name the worst wide release film of the year and it would still sell a certain amount of posters, those days are gone. People now only chase the top 10% grossers and cult hits and the rest you might as well throw in the dumpster.
