I wanted to recommend Yellow Frog tape for delicate surface.

It will react with anything wet and instantly gels to form a micro-barrier that seals the edges of the tape, preventing paint bleed.

I switched, it works well.

That mighty help a bit with Air brush applications.

I have green frog tape but never used it... I'll have to check out the yellow version.

I have been using the low tack Kleen Edge tape.  The regular blue stuff was too sticky (3M too)...  I use a heat gun to slowly pull it off after touch-ups...  I also use it to line up missing corners etc...

And if you scribble on the edges it makes a perfect mark for trimming.

Do you have 3M Repositionable and Acetate for masking on the poster?  That is the only thing I could figure out that doesn't stick, but sticks...

Hi Charlie,

I don't use either. It is all Frog, Mylar, Liquid Friskit and brown paper.
