Jeff it is hard to post too many pictures of Egyptian posters without getting into Gasour's work, because he almost completely dominates the field most years 1940-1980.  I've already posted several of them, which I'm sure you'll be able to find. I'll be posting one of his later designs (1990) next time, which will be either late today or early tomorrow.

the unsigned 2nd poster for raging fists is ripping of the symeoni poster for brute corps.

i know this isnt really "stolen" as such, but wondered if any one would know why 2 posters for the same movie and would use almost identical art by different artists for the same campaign?
to be honest until i looked really closely i thought it was the same art. but it isnt?
how odd?

Gotta love the literal art taken from Fright Night and those 3 fingered hands remind me of the imagery from Amityville 3D

The eyes look similar to those used on other Evil Dead 2 posters..those shown in the skull.

"Heavily influenced" would be the better term for this WC for The Long Wait.... I see shades of Gone with the Wind.
