Attack of the 50ft Woman?

Hello,
I am new to this forum simply because I have found a poster that I cannot determine the origin of by most associate and Internet resources. I was given a vintage 'Attack of the 50ft Woman' Poster for acting in a short film. The poster is in fair condition and the bottom of the poster was stamped (faded considerably) by a 'local sign pictorial & display union' as well as a 'Copyright 1958 Allied Artists Pictures Distributing' stamp.  The poster looks old and authentic but looks nothing like any other Attack of the 50' poster I have ever seen. I am wondering if this is an early mock-up or an alternate design? 

I tried attaching a photo to this post but for some reason I cannot...hints anyone?

The one sheet is a $10,000 poster, so that's quite good pay if it's authentic.

You wont be able to upload any photos to this site directly, but you can display them in your post by linking to the image elsewhere (eg on photobucket). There is an icon when creating a post to insert a link to the photo.

I am sure it is old and authentic....but I wouldn't go saying it is a $10k bill just yet:). I have not seen this poster layout before. I am hoping it  might be a mock-up for an advanced screening or something else. I would think the poster may need some restoration but I am dying to let you folks see it. I am trying to figure out a way to post pics. Stay tuned...

It sure looks real to me.  It's got a similar colour scheme to the 40x60.

You should get it restored (although might be a pain because it's on thicker card stock).

If you're looking for a valuation the 40x60 in nice condition has sold at HA for $2,500 ish...might be comparable to that

You need to send that off to a restorer to reduce the fading (if possible) and it could be worth serious money.  Try Dario:

A little more info...the overall poster looks screen printed or possibly hand drawn and the giantess image seems to be appended on top of the main poster. However the faded 1958 stamp touches both 'individual' parts so it is not like the image was added later (after the fact).

The person I got it from was a set designer for many years and collected many movie pieces from the US and Toronto. He had this piece for many years as I believe he found it in the 1970s. When I saw it in his collection, I knew I had to have it. When he saw how taken I was with it, he gave it to me as partial payment for a film I acted in.

Is there a tear between the purple area and the top of the 50 foot woman's head or is the purple area glued on?
