What kind of idiot (and monster) is this guy?  He destroyed, and continues to destroy, important historical artifacts with no apparent care.

The window card is likely a one-of-one survivor from the period, as I've been collecting Hilton Sisters material since the mid-1980s, and have one of the largest collections out there, and nothing like this piece has ever surfaced. I have plenty more Cloutier stories to tell, but none so tragic as this one.

Welcome aboard, Doghouse. That is very sad about your window card, especially since it could be the last one extant. What a loss. Genuinely.

It appears that the folks who send work to Mr. Cloutier MUST have NOT done their homework, researching his history. The number of people who claim he's destroyed their stuff is incredible. I can't imagine reading about all the horror stories and then sending him ANYTHING to work on. Very unfortunate for the customers, and as you said, doghouse, for the future folks who won't have stuff like your potentially last existing window card.

A part of me would like to see the result of the "restoration" work. It's like a train wreck, you don't want to see but feel compelled to look. I understand if you don't want to revisit those memories though.

I'll check out your website sometime. Hope to see you sharing more of your collection and joining the talk here also.

Crucifixion? Good. Out of the door, line on the left, one cross each.

None of those restorations were properly cleaned. The colors would be more vivid if the poster was cleaned.
