What is this Banner Blue Flute Archival cardboard backing here??
.125 thick Archival Corrugated.
Indefinite Storage.
This "Banner Blue" B Flute corrugated cardboard is buffered with 3% calcium carbonate.

I thought cardboard was bad? what is this compared to foam board?
This archival cardboard is expensive.

The calcium carbonate coating/buffer acts as an antacid and makes these boards archival.
