Yes, it was a tiny little booth, which kind of put things in perspective when compared to the gigantic Marvel or Sideshow booths.  I wish they had brought more older stuff, if not to sell, at least to decorate the booth.  Most of it was new stuff, or stuff people don't want or care about.  It would have been nice to have Stout's The Thing or Ansin's Phantom of the Opera on the wall.  Just for self promotion.

Perhaps a missed opportunity?.. if Mondo knew in advance that this interview was going to happen, they would have for sure pinned a few must haves in the background..the con look great fun if you browse a few other clips.  ;D

Hey, what gives? That Mondo Comics T-shirt looks suspiciously like the Marvel Comics logo...
I wouldn't think Marvel/Disney would appreciate the parody...
Do I smell copyright infringement?

I spent many years working in the Hewlett-Packard Instrument Divisions.  We had a phrase we used called Computer Aided Test for hooking up instruments to a computer.  Anyway, every year we went to several major trade shows.  We had one in Anaheim the year that Batman hit the theaters.  One of our marketing guys came up with a "CATman" theme and had a promotional giveway made which was a flashlight that projected a cat face on a wall along with the HP logo.

2 hours after the show opened on the first day, the Warner lawyers showed up with a cease and desist order.  I spent the rest of the day disassembling hundreds of flashlights and removing the film instead of talking to customers.

Those attorneys seem to appear out of nowhere.
In the 80s, when I lived in Ticonderoga, NY, a little old lady was busted by Universal and Amblin for crocheting little ETs at a local bazaar.
I kid you not.
