P.S. to mods: Can we have a single Mel/Adam thread and the only rule is that if one wants to address the other they MUST use that thread? That way, everyone else can simply ignore that thread and the two of them can go back and forth ad infinatum.

Purdy funny, Bruce.  And, Bruce is right about shilling, which is the process of the seller bidding on his own goods or having someone else bid on his goods just to drive up the final hammer price.  Shilling is not cool.
Best regards,

The word you're looking for is pimping

I like it so I will change the words in Mels post here to the term the Doc came up with.

Adam, don't get your panties in a wad.  You pimp, I pimp, Bruce pimps, we all pimp.

You guys are some pimping mofo's

I wish I could take credit for being the first to use "pimping" when promoting one's wares, but it's been used that way for quite a while

Too much drama. I cannot believe this thread has 3 pages.

Wow, this turned out to be a disappointing thread.  I was enjoying keeping up with the latest on Mel's auctions and it quickly deteriorated. Mel please restart this thread.  I wish people's for sale threads could be drama free.  I enjoy looking at everybody's for sale threads.  In fact, I have bought posters from Rich, Mel, Dale, Adam, indirectly Grey and almost Bruce (I keep getting outbid).  I even had a great conversation with Susan from Hollywood frames and she offered to help find posters on my wanted list.

I know arguments happen, but to me, the "for sale" section should be like classifieds with follow-up comments of support or praise.  Just a newbie thinking out loud...You may now return to your regularly scheduled rants.

"Please step away from the keyboard.  In my unsolicited opinion, you paid too much for your poster," said APF Price Police Officer Thierry.
