I don't want for this to become flame-worthy, but by reading a bunch of incredulous responses to the prices of things on here, I'd just like to point out that you guys are not the infallible kings of valuation.

Oh my, FightClub is coming out swinging... wynk

There are those who think they are smarter because.....(pick one)

a. They have more money
b. They have more college degrees
c.  They have more common sense/street smarts
d.  They have been endowed by God with special poster powers

The only thing I know for sure, is those that like to hold themselves out as being smarter are generally not.

Yep, beat me on the LALD 6S, looks like he "won" over 60 posters, hopefully for Bruce's sake he/she/it is a legit bidder....

Wow, that is quite a purchase. Raziz knew what he/she wanted and went all out to add to their Bond collection.

Why spend money on food when you could give your friends a call to chew the fat, they certainly won't tell you to eat crow they may tell you to swallow your pride, but sometimes you can't have your cake and eat it so better to have eaten humble pie than to eat dirt where you could finding yourself eating your own words.  :-\

Bruce got some decent prices tonight.
Was very interesting watching it all.
Who is that pi guy? He got a few as well.

The Everything or Nothing poster for $815.00 (around £525.00) was about right going from recent prices.

I have to say that FightClub12's last post was a good one.
And when you think about it, he is right (or at least that's what I think).
Best wishes,
Adam

I'm happy. I consigned 3 DCs that I paid $190 for... they sold for $730!  Those daybills were crazy.

Bingo. The half quad size.

Two of them went over $100 which would be 28% commission. The last one sold for over $400 so it goes down to 24%. I'd guess about 25-26% on average.

Even if commission was 50% he still doubled his money and three people are happy as a result
