Another stunner from emovie @ $750.00:

A title LC for LOST HORIZON (1937-Columbia), signed by Sam Jaffe, Jane Wyatt, and director Frank Capra

It is a nice poster Rich - no doubt.  Too bad Dave didn't win so theories could be tested ;)

I don't know why it's important Chris. Who cares what Dave would have done with it. Maybe he wanted some toilet paper

I have some real problems with signed posters!  Personalized ones are the worst.  Might just be me?

It's not important.  But remember it was you who thought it was important that he was the underbidder...

Let me know when you get to some more noirs in that huge Belgian stack!

They arent for me either, Chris. Provenance can potentially be so tricky, as we all know.

But the card is something else, I have to say.  happy1

I was looking through one of Bruce's poster books today and there is a signed Day the Earth Stood Still one sheet where someone had Robert Wise sign right on Gort's face!

Probably the worst possible place to sign it...

Rich, your avatar turned into a postage stamp. Are you now auctioning stamp collections?

Does that bid history not display all the bids? If it does, how did that bidder happen to bid exactly one dollar over the next highest bidder four different times?

It looks to me the winner put in one early large (ultimately successful) bid, and Dave put in numerous (lower) bids that auto incremented the minimum bid above it back to the winner.

Thanks for explaining. Our bid history works differently, showing all bids, and the resulting high bidder.

Bruce, you are seeing the whole history in that segment shown, but not the whole history as it wasn't pertinent to conversation, although anyone is welcome to examine the whole history by going to my Weekly News page, searching in the Google box for Blonde Sinner & going through the links.

Rocksuperstar bid $155 and the other bidder's proxy went to $156 (the next increment), then Dave bid $211 and the other bidder's proxy went to $212, again Dave bid, to $255 and again the other bidder's proxy went to $256 etc etc.

It's one of the many ways bid history can be shown. Does everyone need to do things the way you do them?

Seller ended early this listing, so probably received an off-ebay offer he could not refuse. Incredible 3 sheet for Bring 'em back alive

Something looks "off" about that one Matias.  The size is wrong too...

Maybe it just needs a cleaning?

If it's real it's a beauty!

I thought it was strange that fold lines were not very noticeable and it seems to be in great condition for a poster this vintage...
The size can be an error of the seller (I remember someone purchasing a one sheet listed as a 3 sheet not long ago ;))
I had it on my watch list (just to try my luck seconds before it ended)... eyeroll
