Was any one at Wellers on Saturday in Guildford, Surrey, the big price was for the Empire Strikes Back original UK "Gone with the Wind" artwork. Really lovely, but out of my league it went for £17,000 plus buyers premium

I went to the preview to check the condition of the lots - yes, that Empire Strikes Back artwork was fantastic - I won three items including the original quad artwork for Bertolucci's "1900" which was hand-drawn and coloured - I'll post a picture when I pick it up later this week.

Wow, I was wondering what that ESB artwork would end up at.  $32,000+ is well beyond what I was thinking!




I got outbid on pretty much everything except for the Rollerball US 1-sheet lot, which also had a Houston-Madrid 'special' poster in with it.  That one alone should be worth 3-4 times what I paid.

it was a super low price and I have it on good authority that the winning bidder is very happy.

I wonder why nobody exposed it here on APF where all good auctions get exposed so that people who go to L.U.R.K.E.R. University could have bid the winner up to stratospheric heights
