How do you get something like this restored?  It's missing half the poster?  What's the point?  It's worthless, IMO.

I think the bigger problem is probably that it's card stock and has a lot of water staining and ink discolouration.

Really the credits (the 10 inches that are missing) could be replaced.  This is done for window cards that have been trimmed quite frequently.

You don't have to replace the bottom 10" - the title and essential credits are at the top - if it had to be trimmed, that was the "least harmful trim" possible.  The water-staining is the big problem IMHO.

I agree about the water staining on a card stock poster (as I outlined) but if the buyer is planning on reselling and not keeping it - the missing 10 inches certainly need to be restored for any hope of getting a nice price.

Third one?

Another Ferris Bueller zoomed to $705 at the end (this is second copy this seller has sold, she told me it was a separate poster):

Manifesti (in Switzerland) has been selling multiple copies of many rare international posters.  Based on the feedback, it's all treat, no trick....

Yes, I've bought from them several times before... Good seller.  But be careful to read the descriptions. A lot of their stock was well used!

Well besides the Pearl Harbor B1s I did get two of my main targets, the Priceless quad and this one, tonight...  Think I should show it to my wife now or when its delivered (her name is Roma; I bought the Argentinian a few weeks ago).  I think I should frame it and put it on the wall near her side of the bed...  ;D

That poster must be a misprint, I just watched Total Recall again, and that chick is definitely in that movie.

The Matrix B1 (good to very good) sold for $17!  jawdrop  Wow.  About 4 times what I paid a few months ago, but I have to agree with H's philosophy, that I'm glad I got it then, because who knows if or when it would appear for sale again, and I like the B1.   8)  Still can't believe it sold for $17.

It's wrong.  I already have it, so I didn't pay attention to it.  Otherwise, I would have got myself a 2nd copy.

4x more than what you paid or 4x less than what you paid?

Someone else threw the seller a £500 offer and he closed the auction.
Can't supply the link as I am using my phone just now.

IMHO .. Good to very good is just a touch below the condition that Id like most of my posters to be in .. I cant complain enough about how misleading I feel that fair/good/fine grading scale is .. Ill take the C scale any day over that one.

On Bruce's grading scale I rarely consider anything below very good.  For modern posters, I wouldn't even consider it.  The Winter's Bone posters would have gone for more had I seen them earlier.

I wanted the Winter's Bone posters too but didn't bid because Holiday was already there.  Same with a couple of posters HarryCaul wanted.  I usually don't bid when I recognize the name of the buyer and he's a friend.

Right?!  I used to be you could pick them all up for 10 or 20 a pop - great titles.  Now, everyone is all over them.  I think folks like you and I, Dale, were fortunate to buy what we did when we did.
Best regards,

Holiday

It's all your fault, Holiday.  Before I knew you, I had 5 or 6 Japanese posters.  Now I have almost 600.  Thanks a lot!
