Yes, I do have the full size 40x30 Goldfinger Park Circus.  I got it off UK Ebay a while back.  I can't remember what I paid for it - 100 pounds or so?  This is a pic of my copy.  It looks OK in this pic but it was rolled much too tightly at some point so it's really in "C" shape:

I reckon the next one will go for the same if not more.

Bearing in mind there are enough people out there to a) think it is a must-have poster and b) those same will be regularly reviewing ebay, they will have been made aware that these are the sums involved and will reconsider their pitches ahead of the next one that becomes available.

(1) Totally insane price ($1,600) compared to the recent sale prices of originals.

(2) What happened to the lovely ladies tussling in the left lower corner?

Did anyone see the ebay auction for this quad? I did some (minimal) research but couldn't find it anywhere else.

Really liked the design so had a dabble but didn't manage to snag it!

* Edit... doh, should have said does anyone know more about it... when was the remastered film released and whether it was just at the BFI or a similar small release?

In August 2008, a re-mastered print opened the "Eastwood season" at the BFI Southbank, with subsequent showings at key cities in the UK organized by Park Circus.

Very nice re-release poster.

Sorry Jonny, lol.
Haven't been in this section since last week.
Yes, OK, I'll agree to that bet ha ha!  ;D

I think so, too, Simes.
Although, I still think around £900.00 in mint condition is about right, but then again, it all depends on how long it will be before the next one surfaces.
I know someone who has one, but with a 5cm tear in it.
He wanted £900.00 for it, and his was the only one I'd seen before that one on eBay popped up!

The thing is as well, remember the Todd Slater Goldfinger posters (how couldn't you!?)?
Well look at how much they can sell for, and they aren't even official!

2012 will be the year of the Bond poster in my opinion.

Sorry, Mel, regarding the mix-up over the GF Quad.
£100 was a bloody good buy in my eyes.
Best wishes,
Adam

This re-release Texas Chainsaw Massacre quad went for quite a lot tonight, especially as it has damage to the top. Looks like 2 bidders wanted it badly...

Yep, you can get a double-sided quad for only £20 from a reputable source.  But I ain't saying publicly where you can find it....

what the fuck...

Maybe because the text is the same as the original 20's version (UFA logo, etc...)?  Not justifying the price, just trying to maybe understand what the rational might be.  The quad text is in english and clearly states the modern restoration and screening details.
