pretty expensive for a commercial poster

That's what I was thinking but it's still a period commercial poster no?

Now, now... Dave has this correctly listed as a non-studio personality poster that was pulled due to licensing reasons.  http://www.cinemasterpieces.com/cine_B.htm

I was actually thinking this one would have gone higher... I've only seen a handful sell in the last several years and all of them were quite beat up.  This one was in great shape.

3 must be a charm, as this beautiful, backed quad, listed once again, just sold for 1525.00. It sure is a beaut, and was nicely backed and conserved, too.

T,

Just several months ago, the same seller had it listed in the $3K range, and it went untouched.

Yep, 3k is too much for this poster.  But $1,500 to 2k seems like a fair price.  Oh well, better luck next time.

He might have done well to list it at $2,000 fixed price, especially with the Best Offer feature. Auctions on eBay with low starting prices rarely do well anymore, unless they are REALLY rare and desirable items, because so few major collectors have the time to check there regularly, and even less time to find what interests them.

We've sold 2 or 3 of those barbarella posters over the years. Always correctly described as a personality non theatrical poster.

and on that to catch a thief quad? they both look a bit wasted.

Another example of English-language bias.  I think pretty much all paper on FP is spectacular...

That Cloak & Dagger is another great one.  The face in the background looks like the Green Goblin...

Apparently I'm not the only one who has a liking for mermaids.  :D  This one was a little undersized for me to justify dropping a Benjamin Franklin, but it is pretty darn cool.
