I actually think it's nice to not be so rushed.

Her description for Gilda, the "silver screen gaaawwwdddesssss..." is classic.  8)

The Gilda one sheet sold for $40,000.  Is that about the average?

that poster is all over the board sometimes. it's a good result for sure

on the other hand, This Gun For Hire is such a volatile poster, this one sold cheaply

Behind the Curtain is a great piece of art and would great on any wall. I wish they were playing poker so I could have decided to go for it
 ;)

and the result on the Hilton hotels 2001 poster is no surprise. I saw that poster as a kid in New York and it is fantastic. Don't think I've seen it since it was posted for the movie

You betcha!  This morning I was driving on the freeway with the HA catalog on my lap and the phone in my hand.  Not very practical.  My wife was in her own car, and the nanny with our kids in the babies' car.  Now I'm here with my wife, the nanny is with the kids for the weekend, I'm by the pool watching the ocean, chitchating on APF, drinking a pina colada and bidding on posters I don't need.

What else is there?

I'm way below 50%.  Everything I won is a consolation price.  There are still a few more, but I'm losing hope.

Sounds like a nice trip there, T.  Have fun.  cool1

It's darn cool that this is the original artwork for the classic movie, but I was not expecting that result.  The estimate was $10-20k.
