Ma000000000$  has brought posters in worst condition. I gather S/he already had this OR simply not interested. I think it is a great poster.

As long as the image is essentially there, I think some damage can add a certain charm. All the better if it puts some people off!

$130.00 was the high winning bid on this 1933 OS for Fargo Express. It has more than a few bumps and bruises, too.

Discussion of this posters condition is all just a beat up

That bastid Ma$%$)#(%$) seems to only dump money on silents.  I suspect 1933 is out of their collecting range.

So further to my own post, here's the shot when the black dude was fighting the white dude in the Walking Dead last night.

Here's the actual poster for the movie Back to the Woods, 1918.  Cool that they would use an old stone litho as a prop, maybe Ma00$$00 works for the production company?

...so this is what it feels like to be useful like Jeff, well, sort of.  :P

While 'the Kid' is a more important poster, if I had a choice between the two I would take A Dog's Life hands-down.. Much better visuals

Thank you Rich. Actually, I thought the SAME UNTIL I saw "The Kid" it really blew me away.  I was surprised to find the artwork so powerful and moving.

my feeling Rosa is that I prefer the image of the Tramp

from a historical or cinematic perspective, clearly the Kid would win

Nice, I'm a bit of a Chaplin convert. I never gave the films much time, but on a recent international flight I watched one, and boy did I laugh and cry. Really impressed. Sadly I had a beautiful original still that I sold years ago, I would have liked to have it now.

Gosh, I do wish I could like Chaplin. Not that I don't admire his invention and I can enjoy his films to a degree but I just find his character very difficult to empathise with. I'm a sentimental old thing but I do find him a tad cringeworthy at times. Give me Keaton, Turpin or dear old Laurel and Hardy any time...
