I found this sold for 198$ for the 60's re-release. Well actually that's not a 60's re-release but a bad quality reprint for the 80's re-release and it's been sold 198$... well ok...

How can you tell whether it's a reprint or an original?

Also, if you email the folks at eMovie, I'm sure they would appreciate your insight.

Hi,
It's not a reprint but every original has been print one day. So I made an error telling "reprint" (but I'm not a born english speaking guy). So it's been printed in the 80's for a RE-RELEASE and I know it's not the same quality than the 60's re-release. So if you want more details you can zoom on the picture and you will see a name on left edge "YVES PRINCE" who was an illustrator for french posters in the 80's (his first illustration was for "The goalie's anxiety at the penalty kick" in 1978) so I hope you can define again what you called my "insight" now and very sorry for having said "reprint for a re-release" instead of "printed for a re-release". Am I forgiven ?  thumbsup.gif

No problem

So it's an 80s re-release, not a 60s re-release per the eMovie description.

Thanks for the info.  I'm sure if someone sends the eMovie team an email, they will sort it out, and update their databases.

I'm quite sure of it too, I have to contact them for the shipping about some auctions to come so I'll tell them by the way.

Rude as hell. I didn't not expect or appreciate this being bid on as hard when I'm trying to curtail my spending. crying

Sorry.  If it makes you feel any better to commiserate... I was the under-bidder.

So sorry about that Matt (and Ladeda). I was watching this and was perhaps fair to say (not surprised) to see the final tag. It is such an iconic film and it certainly has an evocative feel that honours the film.

Do you guys know if this is rare ? Ive never seen it before.

This WC for Marked Woman (1937), was re-listed for $599.00 / OBO and a best offer was accepted.   clap clap

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MARKED-WOMAN-BETTE-DAVIS-HUMPHREY-BOGART-ORIGINAL-WINDOW-CARD-1937-/111795053729?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=7cpGsQeTX5QHGYL7WwJtR8yWnts%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

It's a Beautiful card.. and even tho it needs some TLC, the majority of the art is intact & spectacular. The classic WB art (image) of Davis is also just spot on!

Congrats to whoever the new owner is! I think a great deal was had here.

$130.00 was the high winning bid on this 1933 OS for Fargo Express. It has more than a few bumps and bruises, too.

Speaking of Marked Woman, the 1956RR OS just closed on EMP, for $24.00. Uses the same art as the original '37 OS, but in monochrome. (And not re-released by WB at that time, either).
