Kinda of crazy... I found that Star Wars quad rolled with only pinholes on Craigslist about 7 years for $100.  I thought it was a huge bargain as it was selling for $400-500 at the time.  Now you can't even get the oscar version for $400 and this pre-oscar has sold for nearly $2k.  It's amazing how some posters really take off in value in a relatively short period...

A Goldfinger poster.. It looks interesting and sold for only $37.01 USD on the bay. The bottom border looks to have been trimmed off. Would this be a first release? Later RR? Or something else?

Pre Oscars. That is usually £1000-1500 in excellent condition, so quite reasonable.

Someone did well then. 2 quads @400 each.... not too bad

The seller said the poster measures 18x22 inches.

That's also what threw me on it -- its size.

Some mixed results at Ewbanks, but wow, £200 for a Predator Quad, and £335 for Challenge in the Snow, consigned by Brian Bysouth

Sexy Beast quad, Dark Knight stuff did well, and a Star Wars Pre Oscars for £950
ROTJ Quad went for £360 while ESB went for £120?

I dont know about you guys, but what puts me off a little is the lack of condition report for the items?

I was just selling this, i wish had the Predator quad!  It was a mixed bag of results but overall quite happy. They guys down there are nice and friendly, i am interested whether better condition reports (rather than having to ask for one) would make for better prices?

That's a very good question. Personally I don't think it makes a difference. Bonhams sends condition reports on request and they do seem to do pretty nicely. To me the put off is the shipping...

Yes, I'm glad I have it, I'd hate to think I had to pay that for one. They do give a good report and extra photos if you ask them, but time for a full report on everything is a nightmare. The posters are run by a fellow called Alistair, he's a great guy to catch hold of if you have any problems.

yep Alistair is a good guy, very helpful. A real step up from that shambles at Cameo!

Whatever ever happened to Vectis are they still doing posters?

Floored by some of these prices... this has to be (already) the most lucrative poster/card auction ever?  Unreal.

Unfortunately for a lot of the material i was watching the prices were ridiculous...The marx brothers lobbies were absurd...I did snag a few keatons and a Chaplin card that I have wanted forever...so i am very happy so far...
