I wanted that Lost in Translation, but I also missed it. How about that Fright Night Quad?

What does "partial origin" mean with the Lost in Translation?

So does that mean each bond film has like a dozen countries of origin?

by that definition, yes.  but I'm still trying to understand how "unfolded" is supposed to reference a poster that was never folded in the first place.

Same with the phrase "formerly folded." Once a poster has been folded, whether it has been laid out flat for years or not, doesnt take away from the fact that once it has been creased, it will forever and always be considered a folded poster (i would think).  ;D

I don't think COO is about location, not really, unless that country/s partially funded it.

eg, you might have a Spanish/Italian co production, filmed in Germany.

what do you call a poster, screwed up into a ball, made into a Papier-mâché ashtray.
used for a decade.
then boiled up, the mush used as base for a glue to stick linen to a mint/unfolded, rolled, flat, possibly previously folded-rolled poster?
(with pinholes and squares over nipples)

Some would call it heaven others would call it an expensive restoration

So I thought I slightly overpaid when I purchased the exact same mint LC set from HA Signature in November for just over $1,000, but maybe not :)

That is an impressive number for them. As long as the buyer is happy, that is what counts. Wish he spent that on my less than great Astounding She Monster lobbies.

Really surprised this one did not go for a lot more. the normal British quad is not that hard to find but the advance is dang near a unicorn.
Back to the Future British quad advance

I've had two of these as well, sold one a few months back.

maintain what Jeff? do you realize what a steep decline this poster has seen?
it was selling for 20k 10 years ago and had a high point of $47k+ at Heritage back in 2007
here are Heritage results to show what a poor result this poster gets compared to years ago

Definitely an over the top result on Derby Day...only the really classic early to mid 1930's our gang one sheets have historically done that well...I.e. the Kid From Borneo....all 3 silent our gang one sheets did well today...

As a side note ....hardly any paper survives from the early to mid 1930s our gang shorts....95% of all the material is from the silent films or the last few crappy MGM shorts that were one reel....silent lobby cards being the most common....and for some reason there are quite a few silent 3 sheets as well....but I cant remember ever seeing a 3 sheet from the prime early buckwheat/spanky era....Roach ended his Pathe arrangement in 1927..maybe the MGM deal ended the 3 sheets..
