Who knows, maybe he had the pleasure of owning it for a few months, and this drop in price doesn't matter to him.  Maybe he LOVES Dietrich.  We shall never know  :P ;D >:D

if yu look at my post which is now in the other related thread, my postulation is that the person who won the poster at Heritage traded the poster off to someone else who consigned it to the recent auction. The reason being that when you buy from a Heritage Signature Auction, you get a certificate that say Heritage will take it anytime for one of their auctions free of any fees for the person who bought the poster or their heirs. So if the person who bought it was still the person who owned it, I would think they would consign it back to Heritage. So I think it was traded off for something the owner wanted more

I wonder what the best offer paid on this was?

$1500.00, as originally listed, seems high for this 1949RR.

emovie sold the '49RR insert in 2007, for 26 bucks.

I thought the same given HA offer. Unless it was a post auction buy in which case you don't get that HA offer and he or she went to Bruce? I didn't get that offer on my post auction buy so I assume HA only issues that guarantee or offer if you buy it at auction.

Or maybe they forgot to include mine in the post. ..

Sold between $600-800 as that is where it shows up on the completed listings.

This Pakistani poster for The Invisible Man sold recently for $99.00 on ebay. The Pakistani seller said it was from the first release in the 1950's. No release year was noted on imdb, so it could be a possibility. (In Turkey, IM was released in October of 1934).

Wow. That's pretty awesome and a great price. UI was definitely around in the 50s.

I think so, too, Matt.. someone got a good deal. Its a pretty cool looking poster, too, gotta say.  thumbup

Just checked and found that Universal was UI from about 1946 up thru 1962, when MCA officially took the studio over, and reverted its name back to Universal Pictures.

Seller has listed that a couple of times now, so I guess it finally sold.
I just purchased a pretty rare International Toho poster from him.

You all shouldn't be haters just because you didn't buy a copy when I told everyone about it.

I'm not making money off these $150 ebay sales: http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Art-of-Japanese-Monsters-GODZILLA-SIGNED-Sean-Linkenback-1st-limited-ED-/121438968318?pt=US_Fiction_Books&hash=item1c465399fe

or off this $650+ sale of the limited edition: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ART-of-JAPANESE-MONSTERS-LTD-Poster-Book-74-100-Godzilla-Gamera-Etc-Signed-/371107661143?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5667bd8557

Tried to get you all to buy copies, and I think only Dale and Mike were smart enough to listen.  :P
