And the condition of the piece is pretty amazing.  Shame about it being GIGANTIC!

Yes, I thought the same! You need to live in a huge place a la Buckingham palace to make it justice!

Wow, that Snow White is awesome!

No need to live in anything bigger than you're in now. I'm sure it'll roll up into a tube nicely. ;)

I was outbid. Sold on Tuesday at Bruce's.  I was surprised it went for this much $ 270.  He sold another one in much better shape for $130 last year.

congrats to the new owner.

did anyone win anything at the Roger Jones Auction in Cardiff today, some excellent prices achieved (Vectis take note!)

Empire Strikes back quad and set of 4 DC's went for nearly £1000

I didn't win a single bid out of 20 I had going

I had about 20 bids in as well... only a few serious ones though.  Are the results posted somewhere?

not yet, but i'll post when they do

I thought on the whole the prices were very bullish and somehow they did very well, I guess if you use thesaleroom etc then you get much more exposure. Again Vectis should take note of this as although their auction was far better catalogued the end result wasn't as good in my humble opinion

Nevermind... just got an invoice.  I won four lots:

https://www.rogersjones.co.uk/en/antiques-and-fine-art/59/2014-08-29/lot/110
For Your Eyes Only reg quad, FYEO Marler Haley quad, (4) MH DCs

https://www.rogersjones.co.uk/en/antiques-and-fine-art/59/2014-08-29/lot/112
Moonraker/MWTGG double bill quad

https://www.rogersjones.co.uk/en/antiques-and-fine-art/59/2014-08-29/lot/245
a lot with a bunch of quads (including Stunt Man, which is what I was after), and MH posters (Ha, Gandhi!)

https://www.rogersjones.co.uk/en/antiques-and-fine-art/59/2014-08-29/lot/251
a lot with a bunch of DB quads, including an Assault on Precinct 13/Halloween double bill quad and DB MH set -- rare and I thought the Halloween DCs were particularly cool

Nice score

I was after the zombie flesh eaters and dawn of the dead, and the American werewolf quad and MH set... (went for over £250 if I recall)

Tried for a few of the lobbies too, I wonder whose collection it was as it looked in good condition and lots of nice stuff

Yeah, I bid on the ZFE quad and the American Werewolf set as well Paul.  No luck apparently.  Do you happen to remember what the Dalek Invasion Earth quad went for?  There was also a lot with a very rare Blues Brothers advance poster.  It looks like nothing went under the radar!

Liked the condition on most of these and was going to bid, but made the smart choice to not to at the last minute. Need to calm down on poster debits this month.  :( :)

What did you think was a bargain paul, I didn't listen to the whole thing but all the big ticket stuff was going for very good money
I was surprised given it got no publicity on forums. It was all over saleroom though
