Someone got a bargain on this daybill for Hunchback of Notre Dame (I know it says Damnation Alley, but the guy under the "presents" is Quasimodo)  ;D

I was watching that. I could not believe what it sold for. Just crazy for a video poster.

A lot of 80s video posters are now getting more than cinema posters. the Aussie video poster for TTCSM is even better than this one. I sold my spare, in fairly average condition, for $250.

It is just amazing how much some video posters are going for. It seems like it is horror video posters going for high amount. Pumpkinhead is another one.

I was watching this one too. I really like the composition. I'm not a fan of the original pink US OS version.

If you find it for less...say  £10 let me know.. :)

You mean like by ordering it directly from Movie Poster Exchange?

A set of these same 2 cards sold on HA, last May

"A set"? I would suggest they are the exact same cards.

But along with Bruce, I also question whether they are studio issued cards.  My guess is that they are enlargements possibly produced by an independent theater taken from either the pressbook, or made from original cards (perhaps even by an early collector in the 60s).
No way Universal allows cards like this to go out with their logo so mangled as to be unreadable like on the top card.

If it weren't for the fact that they are 11" x 14" I would suggest they were taken from an early fanzine, something like Raymond Stuart's Famous Horrors of the Screen fanzine or something.

I tried $500 but anything above seemed crazy to me.  But what do I know.

Why is it worth more than $50?  Nothing out of the ordinary.
