The seller resisted it with a starting price of $300 with free shipping. Must have cancelled the last purchase just to relist it and get more for it.

WOW, really? I'm sorry but this is really sad   :'( :'( :'(

I love my wife more then words can say but if I ever came home to a room decorated like this, I'd grab my toiletry bag and be out the house in under 5 mins.

Looks like the guy/husband says, "I'll show you" and throws some of his hockey stuff on the table to "offset".

Maybe the other walls have "Fight Club" or "Fast and Furious" pasted all over but I'd bet the mortgage we're looking at a "Sleepless in Seattle" or "Beaches" shrine.

Meanwhile, over at Zorba's place...

Don't trash on poor old Z - he's a known completist in the hobby. But men should be able to show their soft(ie) side, because he can change out his posters quickly, here's what it looks like over at Mel's place on date night  :P ;D

Let's give Mel the benefit of the doubt and go with the low percentage chance this was simply photo-shopped.  I appreciate all of you APF contributors but the more I learn about some of you, the more I like my dog... ;D

The Jimi Hendrix poster went above the estimate.

I wonder if Wonka was bidding on this dress and boa, from the movie he chose as the "greatest film/poster combination", Glitter.

Yeah, that was a good call.   thumbup  The auctioneer said something like "there's been a lot of interest in this one."  It was one of only a few pieces that were actually in the auction room, also.  Most of the stuff was just pictured on a television.

Here's a guy on YouTube explaining the difference between an original and repros of this poster:

Good video.  cool1  A lot of them concert posters are probably difficult to authenticate since many of them had low print runs.
