That's up there amongst the best Key Largo art...the US posters are all uninspired (basic Warner red + white)...

Am I mistaken in thinking the R-1947 Dracula sold for over $40,000 last time around?

Dracula 47R 1sh definitely sold low as did the Kong 1sh.
then the Key Largo poster shown above, which even at estimate was too high, went to the moon (I can't imagine that price will ever be duplicated)

this was the first signature auction in years that I didn't win anything at all and the only real problem with that is I still need those posters.

Not many of these quads around, especially in good condition.  For a recent movie, it's probably one of the most expensive posters around.  I guess this one sold especially high because it's apparently near mint.

Yes the Heritage auction had some casual bidding for top end material..I was surprised the 3 Ages one sheet beat both King Kong posters...The golem title card did well..son of Frankie window card was a nice result too...

I got 3 silent Keaton cards...out of 6 that I really wanted...50% isn't too bad ...so I'm happy

Ludicrous price for that Drive.  Still available (relatively) cheap on UK Ebay:

Wow.  I was looking at the few that sold on USA eBay, usually in the $150-200+ range in decent condition.

Thanks!!  I have been really focusing on getting the very best condition cards possible from the silent short comedies of Keaton between 1920-23...a very challenging task to say the least...Heritage has really impressed me with their consistency AND quality of Keaton material...considering the late state of the game..They really are my only good avenue to hand pick my little gem stones

so at 90+ years old...at what point to they become senior citizens  ;)

A Star Wars 7 sheet (81" x 91.5") sold just yesterday (Nov 20th) for a 'Best Of' offer. I'd be curious to know what the seller agreed to take.

It was listed at $14,995.00

Yet another 'heavy hitter' sold on the bay.

And one other that sold on Nov 10th.  This great looking US HS for the Cagney film, G Men (First National, 1935). It, too, went for a Best Offer, but was listed with a BIN of $10,000.00.

That Star Wars 7 sheet is impressive.  It probably sold between $14,995 and $14,100, unless the guy wanted to offer more than the $14,995 Buy it Now price.

List of the most expensive posters sold on eBay, recently.

That's one of my big regrets.  I was offered a set for $800, but I already owned the SW and didn't want to pay $800 for ESB and RofJ.  I still think the SW is the best of the set, so I'm happy, but I'd be happier with the set.

I would have never paid more than $2k for this.  Yes, it's rarer than the inexpensive 6-sheet, but it's pretty much the same thing, give or take 10 inches.  At this point, it all comes down to owning something that nobody else does, and I don't think that idea itself is worth $10k.

It is interesting, for sure, T.

How rarity, or only known, one of kind items can translate into these kinds of uber dollars, especially for more recent films. Surely there must be some others floating around? But until they appear.....

Plus, it's in really bad shape and needs to be linenbacked.  Another $800 there.

Have to agree with eatbrie on this. It is the only one that I know of not that that means much but the condition is a real killer. I do like that it shows more of the artwork above where the six sheet cuts off more like the one sheet but that is about it. One very curious thing with it is that there is no printer or copyright info/date on the poster that I can see.

The deal though must have fallen through as it was re-listed today.
