"Top Gun" is an overtly gay themed movie .

this is factually correct that Top Gun with all those men standing erect at attention and flying around in hard missiles is indeed a quasi-homosexual  sex fantasy.
I thought that was an intentional aspect of the film

I also do not believe that being able to comment on that distinction makes someone anti-gay, it just means you can look at it & define the film

I think Louie supports the LBGT cause as do I and his facebook page definitely reflects that and so does mine.
I believe in equal rights for all, and as far as I'm concerned, if two gals or two guys want to live their lives in wedded misery, who am I to stop them??

I certainly do. Always have. In fact, when Massachusetts passed the law which gave same sex couples the right to get married, in the city I live in I was extremely proud to be the best man in the 2nd same sex marriage performed that day when my lesbian friends were joined after 20 years of being together. An amazing day.

One of my friends is gay and writes travel and film reviews and he told me ages ago that it is one of the most important movies in the gay world.
