Emovie and the consigner hit the Jackpot with this one.

A 3 sheet with the similar art work sold for $55 in this same auction. Was the 6 sheet soaked in cocaine???

The three sheet is missing the little boy. Maybe HE bought it!

I do love the art on some of these 3 & 6 sheets but really what are the chances they will ever be displayed?  Obviously a bit more for a 3 sheet but those 6 sheets are likely to just be folded up and filed away which is a shame...

3 and 6 sheets fa lyfe!

Thankfully the trolling has subsided. If it resumes, I will fade away.

But this participation is off of the amazing auction I had tonight, NOT the Halloween one.

You know, I believe that the final price was waaaaay above what this poster is worth (especially in its condition), and I suspect if another one goes for sale, it will end up at half this price.  I know a near mint one sold for $3,000 in 2010.  The question here is... when will the next one come around.  That question (and the lack of answer) prompted me to bid.

Those top bidders (with a very few exceptions) are not here. You know we have a great PR machine that makes sure all bidders know of the auctions, forums or no (so don't shut 'er down!). And we get a ton of "word of mouth" bidders from recommendations from happy customers.

They don't have to be on here to still check it out.  I know of a few collectors with million $ collections who check the forum even if they don't participate.

T

The majority of collectors though, T, don't even look at poster forums.
And most of the high end collectors don't have the time to mess around on them as they're too busy making money or have better things to do lol.
Best wishes,
Adam

Dammit, I hate being the underbidder on something I really want...  moron1 That price is higher than a LB copy sold on EMP. Thought I had it for sure.

So I found this original Godzilla (with trimmed borders) that had been incorrectly listed in the "Canvas Prints" section. The seller had tried to auction it several times on Ebay without success:

I thought about getting it and restoring it but I'm tired of linen posters (especially when non-linen versions can readily be found).

Temporarily putting aside my "demonically evil" instincts, I told the buyer to sell it in the Originals section and he was able to sell it:
