Whether fully restored or left as is, it is still very cool imagery of the 2 Uni horror masters, IMHO.

(Well most of BK, in this case  ;)  )

coincidentally, I have a friend who showed me the bottom 2/3 of a Black Cat wc 2 years ago at Cinevent. Last year he had showed me that it had been restored and looked great. This piece coming up 2 years ago would have been very useful to him.

Nice one, Paul. Is that similar to a US 6sh in size?

That would be something to have done. Lots to do, too, if it's that size, but it would be stunning!  ;)

I'm guessing Bela's image was originally off to the right?

Gladys is screaming at Bela, just off the poster..

Bela has a less scary expression on his face in the posters.. but he wields a BIG KNIFE...   :o  I like Gale Sondergaard's expression, too.  ;)

Those type of bidders annoy me.  It's obvious they'll just about pay whatever they have to but somehow think bidding a $1 at a time is going to get them a better deal... hitself

This US HS for Stormy Weather (20th C Fox, 1943), sold for $661 and change. It needs some TLC but what a beautiful image, overall, IMO. Lena Horne looks beautiful! She was one classy lady with a voice to match.  bed1

Nice, that's the 1948 re-release.  Sold here for $1,800 two years ago.

http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archiveitem/9592031.html

So it's a pretty good deal (less than $1,295 best offer).
