Superman Chapter 4 (1948 US 1S linen) goes for $1345 on Ebay.  The black and white inset seriously detracts from it IMO.

This exquisite US WC for the 1938 Kay Francis film, My Bill (Warner Bros), just wrapped up this morning on ebay, with a winning bid of $877.00

This is widow card art at some of its finest, IMO.   bed1

Si. Agreed.

Though she could do with a new hairdo. WC is beautiful. I am becoming a huge fan of WC...for some reason :)

Where did the eBay link go, and why can't this be viewed on eBay?

I deleted it by mistake when editing...here it is. And i think recently closed auctions are not immediately searchable as they migrate from active to completed status.

Chump change for Ghost of Frankie:

Nice that Scott was finally able to move this piece after offering it for so long, but yet another sign of the post-Haggard horror depression as this poster used to regularly sell (on the rare occasions it became available) in the $7-8,000 range.

Having said that, I am definitely in the market for an original Universal (not Realart) one-sheet for this film and would pay $15,000+ (the better the condition the more the "+") for a copy.

And this VERY cool and scarce linen backed 6 sheet for the 1949 Columbia New Adventures of Batman & Robin serial sold for $5000.00

This is one kick ass poster, IMO. The paper size does the imagery proud.  cheers

In looking at earlier results.. this seller had this same poster listed towards the end of April with an opening bid of $1700.00. So he either decided to end it early, or it had no takers by auction's end.

I think these should have gone for more. Imagine them all framed on the walls of a bar (or some such similar place). They would sure get noticed!

£1,500 for a Dr Strangelove?????? What the hell were these bidders smoking? I tried shifting mine on ebay a few months ago and only got £150 for it and mine was in just as good condition as this. Yes i'm jealous. :'(
