Zorba, daybills are CRAP.  You should probably stop collecting them now, before you waste your $$$!

Great advice there, even the good ones are overrated.

Zorba, I should have said "I'm sure the weirdo denizens of the British Commonwealth will be displeased with your new interest in daybills."   ;)

I am providing a service...

Let us Commonwealth folk (citizens from countries who decided against Revolution) waste our Pounds, Loonies and AUD on such trash.

Well, I decided to start a second Japanese B2 collection - they're just too cool to stop at 12.  I picked up these tonight at Emovie.  Anybody else get anything cool?

Maybe but my excuse is that I'm going to fill my last open apartment wall (in the kitchen) with another B1 and B2 frame - that will give me license to buy 12 more of each:

Mel, I reckon you'll be on your 15th B2 collection before you know it. You can make up all the excuses you like, but that addiction gland will kick in and prevent you from sticking with what you have. I'd say it's a given!  ;D

I grabbed a few B2s last night. I've been after this particular poster for a while. It's so over the top, but I love it:

Also picked up a few others including:

and this with artwork by one of my favourite Japanese poster artists, Seito:

I also really liked the design of this piece for the Almodovar film Dark Habits:

It's a great poster.

Thanks Holiday  ;D

I could have sworn you'd already picked one up?!

It's on my wanted list, but I haven't added it yet.  It's ok though because there was enough to go around with the other goodies up for auction.
Best regards,

Holiday

I'm not sure how good of a deal this was, but I picked up this THX 1138 video poster off Flea-bay for $10:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190186506990&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Also, I don't really collect foreign posters, but I love that Japanese Dead Alive poster!

I wish they would un-* the underbidders. You can still see what people are buying by searching on a specific id. Makes no sense not to show the individual auctions.

Great - NOW you tell me that? It's not in your Ebay store and I did a search before bidding.

Goldfinger Alamo (mint condition) sold for $450 Buy It Now this morning to a private bidder.  I can't believe it lasted three days at that price.  I almost bought it because it's worth 2-3 times that but I elected to go with something else - more on that later....

P.S. I did alert one other member here about this poster.  I think several of you already have it.

Cinemasterpiece's Bond Goldfinger quad went for $2500 last night on Ebay.  The price doubled in the last 40 seconds.  (Why do these early bidders even bother - all the action is in the last 10 seconds?)
