Maybe if you add a splash of Bailey's or perhaps a spoonful of Membrillo to your tea?

The poster will then become more appealing, maybe.  ;D

If that went for that much cash, what about the poster that preceded it?

Since the 80s, this undersized one sheet has been the poster associated with Cannes.
What gives?
BTW, beware of the bootlegs on Ebay.  I haven't seen a legit copy of this in years.

I love that Conan poster, but with the art on the French poster readily available for a $50 it makes zero sense to pay 2 grand for the US poster I dont care how rare it is.

I am shocked, by Crom!
You don't like Frazetta's most iconic Conan?
Frazetta painted the first version in 1966 for Conan the Adventurer, the first paperback edition (Lancer) of the RE Howard stories that hadn't been seen or read since the 30s.
That piece of art singlehandedly introduced the character to a whole new generation of fans.
He then repainted it in 1974 for the Sphere paperback reprints.
It is also the art that convinced DeLaurentis to make the movie.
This poster has been swiped and stolen by thousands of artists over the years and it has inspired even more.

I'm sorry.
I get taken aback a bit when someone scorns the Master's work.
I'll stop now...
 cheers

just keep saying you don't like this Frazetta.. Maybe if I can find the images, I can post photos of the Frazetta paintings I have actually sold.. I've had about a half dozen or so, including the only Conan painting that was in private hands until the family sold one to Kirk

here we go.. these are some of the Frazetta paintings I have sold. there are a couple others. The Uncle Creepy portrait was the only one I actually displayed at home at any time, though the others had graced my offices back in Cincinnati when I lived there and had my gallery. The Conan portrait was a special piece doen for Armand Eisen back in the 1970s when he was publisher of Ariel and a good friend of Frank. It was the only Conan painting in anyone's possession until Kirk bought the paperback cover. I sold that one for $35k in 1991.

you're welcome Randy.. the biggest % I made was on the Uncle Creepy.

I bought a piece of art for $500 and after a while I traded it to Russ Cochran for a 1945 Superman Sunday page by Wayne Boring, a 1934 Flash Gordon by Alex Raymond, a fourth item I don't recall and the Uncle Creepy painting. It was about $18,000 in total trade at the time (1989). I had the Creepy on my wall at home for months until I got an offer I couldn't refuse ($17,500). The other items sold for $6000 (Superman) $25,000 (Flash Gordon) and I just can't remember that other item... big profit for the original purchase, which was a Carl Barks Donald Duck cover from 1951 called Christmas for Shacktown that I had found and was never seen before (rescued from a dumpster by the guy who sold it to me)

Do you remember what the size was on those and if they were on paper or canvas?
