Scalped of its credit section.  :-[

The good thing is, that credit section could easily be re-created, and if done by a professional restorer, would look terrific.

So it to look terrific you'd also have to be very enamored with Davis ;)

I own the untrimmed copy:-)  Whomever got the trimmed got a deal.  Blerg.
And noone talks smack about Davis!  She's the queen of cinema!!  Maybe a touch of hobgoblin about her, but that's what endears me to her.  And she was beautiful circa Jezebel.  She kinda went downhill pretty fast though, haha.

As well as how she looked in The Little Foxes. She never looked better in that film, too, IMO.  cheers

All about Eve. Every woman should watch that film. It's going to be a bumpy ride. That's all.

Bette was the best, elevating every movie she was in into the stratosphere.
I want one of these.

I posted this on tumblr and it just about went viral.

Ted.. I've always thought that was the best poster for the movie -- hands down -- IMO.

Gosh Ted, that poster is incredible. Shame I could never have it. I watched the film when I was a kid and B Davies singing the baby jane song is something that still to this day gives me the chill ....

beautiful poster ....

Di451643 and De485821 must have got their tax returns back already  :)

Looks like the endless supply of BTTF may finally be bringing the price down a little.

This one sold for $15K (best offer)  :o  on ebay, no less!  Not sure of the year of this sale; I checked recent sales on ebay's database and it wasnt showing. Paul, do you know when this copy sold?

Not sure when that one sold, but we sold one two years ago for $13,000 and I thought it a very good deal for the buyer at the time.

Looks like the endless supply of BTTF may finally be bringing the price down a little.

this is what happens when sellers don't put the brakes on selling more than the market can handle of any item.
If a Star Wars style-C was available 15 times a year via an auction, by the time they got to the 15th copy, the price would be in the toilet. The problem with poor stewardship is not just specific to each successive sale, it is also walking down the price that the first suckers who bid had to pay, not knowing you were going to unload them into the market later.

I completely forgot about Bruce's auctions ending early today.  :(  I had my eye on this one.  Really took off at the end.  Looks like Sederic68 gave Dale's friend De485821 a good battle.  :P

Some smarter collectors have chosen to send us some of their better posters for our Fixed Price On Site Consignment program where we regularly achieve much higher than average results. Escape from NY is just one example. We have sold several at that price. Most sales are directly from our website cinemasterpieces.com, but we also sell a lot on ebay and just recently within the past 6 months we have been doing pretty well selling on Amazon.

and as for Pretty Woman......even after all these years we are STILL the only source online where you can regularly find for sale at a fixed price (not at auction) an original double sided 1sh full size 27x41 (not 27x40 repro).  ;D
