It was a nice sale, but it went for way above what I thought it would.  I ended up getting the Seito Star Wars B0 (along with the C3PO).  I already own the Style B Star Wars B0 and foolishly passed on the Seito when I had a chance because I thought I'd get it from somewhere else.  Mistake.  It never happened and I've been waiting 3 years for another copy to pop up.  I wasn't going to let that one go.

1995 Kilian mylar 1S:

2018: New Boba Fett movie in the hopper;

Update: LucasFilm reportedly has nixed all "Star Wars Story" spinoff flicks since Solo flopped financially (due primarily to mistiming IMO):

Gold Killian 27x41 mylar, quite rare, gold style given to elite party attendees in London in 1987; silver style common

There are actually two styles, the US dated version shown and a version with the UK release date of November 28th. There is a gold versions of each but don't remember off the top of my head if there is a silver UK dated version. The Gold UK version seems to be the harder to find but sells for less.

I recall reading 300 were given to 1987 party attendees. Pretty sure gold version never sold to public.

The Hong Kong and Israeli posters sold for a good wedge at the Prop Store auction yesterday (£8.5k and £7.5k respectively if my screengrabs are too small). I've always liked the HK poster, I didn't realise it went for so much!

Should see what your Alien Advance Quad went for, and it was wrongly described as a MH...

Whut? I ran across this oddball SW MP tonight!

Star Wars (Delos Film Buff Series, 1970s). Poster (25" X 38"):"This magnificent and rare poster comes from the Delos Film Buff Series release of music from the first film, featuring John Rose on the great pipe organ. It showcases images of spacecrafts not seen in the film, as well as a different font for the Star Wars title." (ha.com)

So the talented Jock has just released a new Star Wars print through Mondo.
I kinda like it.
Is it the first poster to feature the Death Star trash compactor?

There's also an additional Star Wars poster by Mike Mitchell

Man, I missed out!

That was the same auction?  The owner tried to convince me to buy it, again, but I didn't even check the auction because I was busy doing something else and forgot.  Oh well...  You're still convinced it's not a MH?

Sir, ever thought about displaying your posters so they have room to 'breathe'?

They almost look to be wallpapering your walls.

Obviously you go with what suits, but am curious as to the thinking, is all.

Dug up some advanced printing info elsewhere:

Chris Botkins Yes. The printing process, while it’s changed quite a bit in 30+ years, remains relatively the same in terms of putting ink on paper. The main difference now is that “camera ready” artwork and “separation transparencies” are no longer used. They print direct to a big plate machine now. The printing plates are event bent, cut and formed all out of that same machine as well.

The proofing process is all digital now too. Unless specified by the client. Those high quality color prints such as Kodak’s, Chromalin’s, “blue lines”, etc are too expensive to produce consistently. So the printers just send digital files for approval now.

The PDF’s that clients send to big printers all have to adhere to strict prepress settings in order to further streamline the proofing process. And each printer has different settings they want/require.

Splendid.
