Haven't seen it, but I have heard great things from folks I trust so that is great.
Re: Jedi.
I grew up OBSESSED with SW and Indy. When I look back and watch SW now, the first two films are incredible and Jedi is very cheesy and sloppy. It has great moments, scenes, characters, etc...but not anywhere near the first two. Jabba is cool, I have no problem with Jabba. Lucas screwed that scene beyond repair in the special editions, though...with that CG crap. Ugh.
What's odd to me about the Star Wars films, I saw them all at either cinema and/or drive ins. I loved them as a kid (original trilogy of course, I saw one or two of the new ones, I forget now), collected the figures, I even wore Star Wars sandals, I begged my mother for them and she finally caved in, I realise now she didn't want to as she couldnt afford them, so feel a bit bad now.
I also saw the first real Star Wars as a rerelease as an adult, must have been late 90s I guess.
But as an adult they have no nostalgia for me.
I may try and watch all three one weekend and see what it's like, I think I still have them on video so sans new SPFX etc, and who knows maybe ESB and Rotj might be more fun for me now.
Not bagging the film, it's odd to me, as im usually quite nostalgic about "stuff", almost all of my collecting revolves around it.
