ART OF THE ASTRO ZOMBIES
« on: April 07, 2011, 11:46:41 AM »
Thought some of you might enjoy this page of original artwork, inspired by the film I helped make in Las Vegas in 2001. Mark of the Astro Zombies.

Some good ones here, one or two have been made in to One sheets.

Enjoy.

Ari

Man...I am behind the times. Just came across this post of MARK OF THE ASTRO ZOMBIES art.
Some major comic-book talent represented here, Ari.
You mentioned that some of these became one sheets....do you know which?
Very cool art, especially two of my favorites, Adam Hughes and Tony DeZuniga.

Nice research, Jeff.
That is an awesome image.
Now, I wonder if Ari has a spare copy or two for his American friends?
Howzabout it, Offaleater?

How did the library display go Ari. It displayed a horror stand including an Astro zombie head to scare the little old ladies...

it went well thanks, only one complaint. But many good comments.

re the poster Ted, I dont even have one, (yet) but you can buy them direct from Ted V Mikels from memory $50 signed.
But realise this has had to my knowledge 2 screenings (maybe three) one in Las Vegas, and I dont think he used the poster, but it was made after (not sure)
And one I did in Sydney and I didnt use this poster,
So its a commercial poster. But its 27"x40" and great fun art and Ted will sign it if you like, PLUS all his $ always goes towards the next movie.
