T's right.  This is the community's forum.  T and I both have day jobs and we don't need to make decisions based on advertisers. That really frees us up to allow us to host wide-open discussion.

in my eyes MPF was you guys, plus Carson, plus Fallen, plus Reprints.....there may have been little spats  over there, but did it really need the Big Brother heavy handedness.

Thierry and I have been bouncing around the thought of a new forum for a long time.  We truly believe that we fit a niche that needed filling, a forum that covers categories of posters and poster-related items outside of just movie posters.  While recent events certainly prompted conclusion of our thoughts, those thoughts did not germinate in relation to anything other than the need for a broader based of poster enthusiasts in one forum.

We are not an alternative -- we are an addition.  That simple.
