:) No not that tall, I just held the camera up high to show off my Revenge of the Jedi which is sitting on top...(ok, it's belongs to my wife) which had just arrived from Dario, but the pic didn't come out that well.

Its actually the neighbors collection shot through their window

It's up! Sadly, I had to take down my Stargate but that image is so burned into my brain, I doubt I needed one up...  Thierry and basketball guys might like the one to the left; it's been leaning in my closet for ever.  My dad worked/retired from Dr. Pepper and he got this set of autographed cards (Fleer/Dr. Pepper) - Kenny Smith, Matt Bullard, Hakeem Olajuwon, Rudy Tomjanovich, Otis Thorpe, Carl herrera, Vernon Maxwell, Sleepy Floyd and Robert Horry; much of which made up the two Championship Teams in 94 & 95...  One of my cherished possessions...

Wow Charlie!!!!  That is just plain cool.  I have said it before but that poster is both sexy and gritty.  And all the tape marks, snipes, etc...simply add to the character.  The best part is that there will never be a poster just like it ever auctioned off again.

What Brian said.

Very nice in its natural state, very.  thumbup

Just had another look, dunno it is quite magnetic. There is something seriously cool about the whole poster look now with its age, the wear, the snipe, the stains along with a great design. Yep, very cool indeed

IMO, it's much better than any posters you could put up.  I don't have a single posters up at my house, but I do have a few pieces of sport memorabilia (including my Magic jersey signed to me) and I cherish it.

Didn't the auction just end? How in the world did you get it so quickly?  :o

Thanks guys!  It's looking killer.  My wife even liked it...  :o

Then she saw my small french Hustler on the floor and says "I like him"
Me: "Who, Paul Newman."
Her: "Yeah he's a good looking guy."
Me: "So that means you like the Cat on the Hot Tin Roof?"
Her: "Yeah I like that movie."
Me: "So I can buy you Paul Newman posters?"
Her: "Sure!"

My Thoughts:  "Cool Hand Luke OS - guilt free... Score!"

@ Bruce - Thanks for shipping it out so fast...  They always come fast when you pay fast. ;)  I really dig the auto-pay thing...  thumbup

@Thierry - Believe it or not I was a huge Basketball fan in the late 80s through the end of the Jordan era...  I've got a lot of cool Clutch City stuff...

Nice.  My stuff from Bruce takes months to get to me.  I usually forget about it, and it's like Christmas when I open the multiple packages.

Cool beans for you.  I just saw Cool Hand Luke this weekend on AMC.  It holds up well.  The egg eating scene is priceless.  I just don't like the way that the 70's films portray fighting the man as hopeless.  I would have liked to have seen a different ending. And the OS for Cool Hand Luke is just okay, IMO.  Now, the Cat on the Hot Tin Roof stuff is legendary.   ;D

Yesterday, I decided to pin some of my recent linenbacked goodies up...  I've gotten so lazy, I don't even bother trimming them clean anymore.  What's the point, unless I go to frame them.  Plus, it leaves room to tack them up...  :) All the smalls are done and I have a daybill and locandina in the queue after my wife finishes Dr. J's and Mel's...  Plus the Conspirator...  Yeah Matt K. I gave into temptation and yanked one of the planned daybills for the How to Steal. Your package arrived and I was weak:  bed1

Here's my new rotation for the 1st Qtr.

I can't pull the Kiss of the Vampire poster, it's been somewhere in my rotation for the last couple QTR's, just too sweet of a poster and I thought it went well this time with the two on the sides, color-wise.

Left Fearless up too, still trying to figure out what to put up on each side, my collection of 1-Sheet sized posters and smaller is limited.  I've been trying to find a couple good German posters but haven't had much luck, I have the plexi and frames already, just need the posters... I have a couple small French posters, but don't have frames. I guess I could put the French in the German frames for the time being...
