My wife gave me complete rights to the stairway and upstairs bedrooms.  I got started but then was booted by my daughter's afternoon cubby...  I went ahead and backed my Czech My Fair Lady, it was kinda weak...  Plus it fits so nice in the frame that way and stays undamaged. HS are starting to rock because you can go to Michaels and buy a 22x28 frame right off the shelf in nice moldings.

Congrats! hehe

I love how we all need that authorisation, like you my wife has just extended her approval to decorate one of the spare bedrooms, as my office is now full and she won't allow anymore in the lobby/entrance either.

As usual, mine looks like a strange teenagers room,
I really like old junky pictures from charity stores (op shops to Australians)
Especially old European buildings or towns, and sea faring pictures, and catholic art.
You can see a couple of framed photos of Gaudi buildings, which I love also.

A Charlie, lucky, I reckon stair wells are the best place for hanging, and hallways.

Re permission, I was lucky enough to never have that problem, the only ting holding me back has only ever been enough frames.

This is the first poster going up in the newly allocated room - it belongs to my wife, she's been a Betty Boop fan for quite a few years and has a few (not lots) little statues etc dotted around the house. So I got her this as a Xmas present several years ago

It's an S2 reprint of the 1932 original...

What's that Hell Driver's one under the Metropolis poster? Is that custom art for the film?

It's a British press sheet, more pics and info on other side and it folds out.

If we were to be pedantic then it's not on MY wall, and technically not even going on MY wall.

I just landed a bunch of frames from Sue (http://www.hollywoodposterframes.com) and this is the first that has been framed, I am giving it to my neighbour. The wife is a former Jazz/Blues nightclub singer (I enjoy both forms of music) and she can still belt out a tune, anyway, she asked me if I had anything that would suit their house and was the right size. I did, it was this Stople which she liked so I got it framed and I think it has come out a treat.

Just shows that even cheap posters can look great.

BTW, Bella can't sing...

Bella seems always collapsed sitting on one leg. Is that because of her(?) injury?

Yes, she's only 3 years old but has already had one hip operation at 7 months (Femoral Head Ostecomy) and one knee operation (this year) due to a Luxating patella. Guess which one of the four animals we didn't get round to insuring.... hitself

I would have been disappointed if he had. It took some wrestling to get it out of my hands so I'm glad it's on the wall now being enjoyed, rather than in a tube still under my bed.

And I still thank you for it Matt!  That remains the one poster that I ever stayed after anyone to sell to me.

Not really sure, I gather these issues seem to be more a small dog issue rather than a Pug one, not so common but not unheard of.

Difficult to follow, but. I don't have much on the walls poster-wise, this is the current batch...

This is an original by a local artist...

Can't not have the Boys up.

I only have one of these kind of things but, it was a must..

Also in the front room...

Hall

Dining room

And I've posted some that are up in my Cinema room, in the home entertainment thread...
It's more than a Hobby...
