Awesome Schan.  thumbup

I am with ted. Those God Father posters look great together.

Looking forward to the rest.

Love the two Godfather posters...stand outs for me.

What do you do when people come over to watch movies?

Thanks everyone!  It is a work in progress still.

Some answers:

1. The DVD tower was custom made from rosewood by a furniture maker in Japan
2. The pair of Godfathers are are blocking a window.  Behind them is a piece of 1/4" plywood with 1/4" closed cell foam on the front and the whole deal wrapped in charcoal microfiber cloth.  Behind that is 5 mil black plastic covering the window.  There is no sunlight getting through to either damage posters or ruin the movie watching experience.
3. I am going to build a riser and put a couch behind the chairs, but havent made it that far yet.

Like the lot (except NxNW, but we've already had that discussion)

To be honest, I may have put something else there; but, there are only so many pieces that can fit in a spot that is 12.5" vertically.  I considered putting the Pi chirashi horizontally above that window, but likes them vertically better.  If I get some other worthy chirashi or some other piece that fits, I may take it down.

Well we have been going through some boxes and I found a ton of framed stuff.  I found my Story Bridge Oxley photos, my only movie star autograph from the lovely Gwen Paltrow, my boomerangs, my route 66 sign, and not shown is my set of Great Expectation (Paltrow) stills that I hung on the bedroom wall. I also framed a new oil this weekend and hung it up of a sunflower I think.. The frame makes it totally pop but it is a bit old fashioned.

Also note the two prints from Ms. Adams; I've got room for two more...  There is also a Norah Jones fold out back behind the blue vase from her new album.  I need to buy some of her posters too...

nice vintage glass, especially the plastic water bottle.

I also respect that the booze bottles are nearly empty.

Here's my humble little lot.

as you can see i only have attic space and it's a real game of nerves hanging that much glass at that angle.
If we ever have an earthquake i'll be sliced to pieces  :o

I wish  :-[
No it's my only commercial reprint/copy/fake
Only got 2 of them a few weeks ago from a closed down surf/shark themed cafe.
I'm relocating it soon to the bathroom to hang over the bathtub.
Would never hang a real one in such damp conditions but i think it will look good in there, and also because i remember being too scared to take a bath for weeks after i first saw that movie  ;D (i was only around 6 at the time  :P )

I thought it looked slightly smaller than a one sheet.
If I'm not mistaken, the current JAWS UK re-release has spawned a nice quad using the original art.
You should grab one.
 cheers

Frames are not my problem...there is a market near by where some guy sells modern framed quads for 30 euro...sadly he's glued the posters to cardboard backing but it doesn't take much to rip out his posters and replace them with my own. as a result i have to many frames and not enough space.

Is it just me, or does the Bane poster look wider than the other two....

I think it's the perspective, Paul.
(Or some unspoken wish that they were quads.)  wynk
